Stressed employees turn to the sanctuary of yoga

It's no secret that exercise can help relieve stress for even the most overworked employees. For example, hedge fund manager Jeremy Frommer recently turned to yoga to relieve the tension and anxiety of being on the trading floor all day, according to Hedge Fund Live. Tired of his hectic work environment – where colleagues shouted across desks and televisions blared in the background – Frommer engaged in the ancient art of meditation.

Not long after he began incorporating the practice into his busy work day, he raved about its myriad benefits on his physical, mental and spiritual well-being. The technique, which blended toning postures with deep breathing exercises, enhanced his mind-body connection, enabling him to pay closer attention to detail, increase his productivity and improve his mood.
